The Jewar Airport Faridabad Connectivity Corridor has received a major push after the Union Cabinet approved a new infrastructure project to improve access to the upcoming airport in Uttar Pradesh. The plan includes an 11-km elevated road that will connect Faridabad with the Noida International Airport at Jewar, significantly reducing travel time for passengers and cargo movement across the Delhi-NCR region.
This project is expected to strengthen regional connectivity, boost logistics efficiency, and support economic growth around the upcoming airport hub.
11 KM Elevated Road Approved for Jewar Airport Faridabad Connectivity Corridor
Under the approved proposal, an 11-kilometre elevated highway will be built as part of a larger greenfield connectivity corridor linking the airport with major expressways. The corridor will connect the DND–Ballabhgarh bypass area with Jewar Airport, providing a high-speed route for commuters.
The elevated section alone will cost around ₹689 crore, while the entire corridor project has an estimated investment of about ₹3,630 crore.
This strategic road infrastructure will help create a seamless connection between the airport and key transport networks in the region.
