Noida Chilla to Sector 94 Elevated Road Planned to Improve Jewar Airport Connectivity

The Noida Chilla to Sector 94 Elevated Road project is being planned to enhance connectivity between Delhi, Noida, and the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar. The proposed elevated corridor will start from the descending ramp of the Chilla elevated road and extend to the Sector 94 roundabout in Noida, helping reduce traffic congestion in the area.

This new infrastructure development is expected to improve travel flow toward the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and make airport access easier for commuters across Delhi-NCR.

Project Overview of the Noida Chilla to Sector 94 Elevated Road

According to officials, the new elevated road will be approximately 2 kilometers long and will be built to manage the increasing traffic volume near Film City Road and nearby sectors.

The project will connect directly to the upcoming Chilla elevated corridor, which is already under construction to reduce congestion between the Delhi-Noida border and the Mahamaya Flyover area.

Once completed, commuters traveling from Delhi will be able to reach central Noida and further expressways more smoothly without getting stuck in heavy traffic.

Direct Connectivity from Delhi to Yamuna Expressway

The new elevated road is part of a larger plan to create seamless road connectivity from Delhi to Greater Noida and the Yamuna Expressway.

From Sector 94, authorities are planning a six-lane expressway connecting Sector 94 to Sector 150, which will further link to the Yamuna Expressway.

With this network in place, vehicles coming from Delhi will be able to travel directly toward Greater Noida and the airport corridor with fewer signals and less congestion.

Improved Access to Noida International Airport

One of the key objectives of the Noida Chilla to Sector 94 Elevated Road is to strengthen connectivity to the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar, which is expected to become one of the major aviation hubs in North India.

Once the elevated corridor and the proposed expressway extension are operational, commuters from Delhi and central Noida will have a faster route to the airport via the Yamuna Expressway.

This infrastructure improvement will significantly reduce travel time for passengers and logistics operators traveling to the airport.

Engineering Design and Structure

  • Officials revealed that the new elevated road will be constructed above existing infrastructure and metro lines in the area.
  • The elevated road will pass above the Magenta Line metro track, which already runs at around 17 meters height.
  • The new corridor is expected to be built at around 22 meters height to safely cross the metro line.
  • This design will ensure that both metro operations and road traffic continue without disruption.
  • Benefits for Noida Residents and Commuters
  • The Noida Chilla to Sector 94 Elevated Road is expected to bring several advantages:
  • Reduced traffic congestion near Film City and central Noida
  • Faster travel from Delhi to Greater Noida
  • Direct connectivity toward the Yamuna Expressway
  • Improved access to Jewar International Airport
  • Better traffic flow on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway
  • These improvements will benefit daily commuters, businesses, and real estate development across the region.

Infrastructure Growth in Noida

Noida continues to witness rapid infrastructure development with multiple road, expressway, and airport connectivity projects underway. The proposed elevated road from Chilla to Sector 94 is another step toward creating a high-speed road network across Delhi-NCR.

Once completed, the project will help transform urban mobility and strengthen connectivity between Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, and the upcoming Jewar airport hub.
