This ambitious venture, located near the upcoming Jewar International Airport along the Yamuna Expressway, is designed to promote the media and entertainment ecosystem while offering extensive opportunities for filmmakers, technicians, hospitality staff, and creative professionals.

Massive Investment and Strategic Location

The first stage of the international film city spans 230 acres of a larger 1,000-acre project and carries an investment of about ₹1,510 crore.

Its close proximity to the upcoming Jewar Airport and critical transport links positions this entertainment hub as a preferred destination for domestic and global production companies.

What Phase One Includes?

The initial phase of the Noida Film City will feature:

  • Post-production units
  • Hospitality and retail infrastructure
  • Dedicated food & beverage and media office spaces

This combination is expected to transform the region into a premium media district catering to film production, events, training, and tourism.

Public-Private Partnership Driving Growth

The project is being developed under a public-private partnership (PPP) model, with Bayview Projects, supported by filmmaker Boney Kapoor and the Bhutani Group, winning the development rights.

Other bidders from Bollywood and entertainment sectors also competed, underscoring the project’s appeal to major stakeholders in the industry.

Long-Term Vision and Economic Impact

With a 90-year concession period, the Noida Film City aims to establish a sustainable entertainment ecosystem that supports cinematic activities, education, and ancillary businesses.

Beyond 10,000 jobs in Phase 1, future phases may generate significant indirect employment and help position Uttar Pradesh as a national film production hub.
